Sažetak

The work is a condensation of dermatoglyphic and somatotype research and relations between these constitutional and movement properties. It is our opinion that finger markings derived from the exterior from the embryo (ectoderm) allow us to include the dermatoglyphics of the finger in the constitutional traits, together with somatotype. The essential contradiction in the potential of the organism's growth as a whole and its parts derived from the ectoderm, particularly explains the poor correlation of indicators for the somatotype and dermoglyphics of the finger as marking traits, in the absence of high and constant correlation between them. However, this does not mean dimnish, but, on the contrary, increase the diagnostic possibilities. It is essential the chronologic direction of these criteria.
Adaptation represents the opposite end of the genetic predetermination of traits. However, the limit and the parameters of adaptability depend not only on the exterior agent but on the internal state of the object upon which it acts. Giving a high social significance to the problems of sports and professional selection and providing a rational sports orientation of all citizens does not diminish but makes sports genetics generally known and sensibly emhasized.
