PHYTOCYBORGS WILL HELP PEOPLE IN THE FUTURE

Sažetak
One of the new trends in the world is the design and construction of treehouse buildings, which are enriched with greenery from plants, shrubbery to trees. The benefits are numerous. Plants on these buildings provide better climatic conditions. They reduce energy consumption for heating in winter and for cooling in summer. They provide better air quality. They have a positive effect on the mental health of tenants. Plants should be taken care of: watered, fertilized, guided, pruned and cleaned of fallen leaves and animals that inhabit them. Project Flora Robotica was launched with the aim of automated plant maintenance. The intention is to conduct aresearch and create a symbiote of robots and plants, which would take on this role. With creation of a cyborg or phytocyborg plant, „communication“ with plants could be achieved, and numerous possibilities of influencing the controlled development of plants could be created.
