Sažetak

The pain caused by a neck injury often becomes long-lasting and chronic. It negatively affects the level of functionality in the activities of daily living and the quality of life of such patients. If it is a question of myofascial pain, i.e., present myofascial trigger points, dry needling is a technique that is increasingly popular among physiotherapists and is used in the treatment of trigger points. The aim of this paper is to present the outcome of physiotherapy, with emphasis on the use of dry needling, in a patient with limited range of motion of the cervical spine and pain in the upper trapezius fibers and neck after traumatic head and neck injury.
