Sažetak
This paper reviews astrogeodetic works on determination of new geoidal points in the Republic of Croatia. Project activities were performed continuously from 1983 and concluded in 2000. The method of equal heights is described in detail. The choice of Zeiss Ni2 astrolabe for difficult night fieldwork is explained. Systematic errors affecting the observation results are investigated and all reductions necessary for processing are examined. Finally, the statistics about astronomical co-ordinates of all geoidal points determined during 15 field seasons in 17 years is given. The importance of astrogeodetic measurements in determination of the geoid surface iii the Republic of Croatia is emphasized.
