Sažetak

Two interpretations of Dupin's indicatrix are presented. The formulas of Dupin's indicatrix have been derived for the level surface given in explicit and implicit form. Mathematical statements are illustrated by means of geodetic examples: sphere, rotational ellipsoid, and the level surface of the gravity potential.
