Sažetak

The research on fattening characteristics of different boar genotypes offspring was carried out on pigs of both sexes divided into six groups, weighing 30 up to 100 kg. Six boars were selected for reproduction. Pureblooded male and female offspring of 1st and 2nd group originated from sire line of German Landrace 55/80 and 55/186, respectively. The 3rd and 4th group of pure-blooded offspring had fathers of the 11/175 and 11/187 Swedish Landrace breed, respectively. Groups 5 and 6 were crossbreeds (SLxLWxP) of the Pietrain sire line 44/18 and 44/12, respectively. Throughout the experiment, pigs were kept and fed equally. Feeding regime was ad libitum. From the beginning of the experiment up to 60 kg of live weight, pigs were fed S-20 diets (16% of crude proteins), and from 60
kg to the end of testing they were fed S-50 diets (14% of crude proteins). Basic production indicators were taken into consideration, such as live weight, total and daily gain, food consumption and conversion. There was statistically relevant (P<0.05) and highly relevant (P<0.001) influence of fathers referring to weight of offspring. Crossbred offspring of 5th and 6th group exhibited from the 1st to 3rd fattening phase significantly higher (P<0.05) weights than offspring of the remaining groups. Influence of Pietrain fathers on weight gains of offspring was statistically significant (P<0.05) in the 4th fattening phase, being in the 1st, 2nd and 5th phase statistically highly significant (P<0.01), and in the 6th phase statistically very highly significant (P<0.001). The best gain and food conversion were exhibited by crossbred offspring.
