Sažetak
The Croatian State Archives, as the central and parent archival institution, has the primary role of preserving archival material important for the territory of the entire Republic of Croatia. As such, its fonds contains more than enough sources for studying the history of Dalmatia. The aim of this paper is to present in one place the fonds available to the users of the Croatian State Archives, which contain sources for Dalmatia from the end of the Republic of Venice in 1979 until the proclamation of the Federative People’s Republic of Yugoslavia in 1945. In the article, the holdings are divided based on the changes in the administration of Dalmatia, five periods and two additional units: for collections whose only part of the material covers the selected period, and for family and personal holdings. At the end of the article, there is a tabular attachment with all processed fonds.
