PERSPECTIVES OF TOURISM DEVELOPMENT IN THE FEDERATION OF BIH

Abstract
Tourism in Bosnia and Herzegovina is an industry that is still at a low stage of development. Although statistical indicators indicate a continuous increase in the number of tourists both in Bosnia and Herzegovina and in the Federation of BiH, it is necessary to consider and identify key development factors for this area. The subject of this paper is to identify important factors in the development of tourism. The aim of this paper is to analyze and present the decisive factors on the basis of which the model of tourist destination development will be presented through empirical research. Based on the set goal and subject of research, the author will in this paper through empirical research and the results obtained to reveal the key factors that will be the fundamental basis for the model of tourism development. The paper uses methods of analysis, synthesis, description, compilation and comparison, as well as methods of proof, which was realized in the process of empirical research using questionnaires. In the analysis and data processing, the statistical program for data processing SPSS 20 will be used.
