Sažetak

This article examines the following questions: What is the fivefold task of Interpreting biblical ethics? Character development as the goal of Christian ethics. Intra-biblical guidelines for distinguishing absolutes from cultural rules. Proposals for reliable interpretation of biblical narratives. Application of Scripture to issues not addressed in the Bible. Ultimately, the ethical challenge to every Christian is: "Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God" (1 Cor 10:31).
