Sažetak

The goal of the analysis of professional cores at pedagogy studies in Croatia is to investigate whether they include the outcomes and content of training future pedagogues for pedagogical counseling to various participants (children, educators, teachers, parents) of educational work in schools and other educational institutions in which pedagogues are most often employed after completing their studies. A total of 176 compulsory vocational subjects, which are taken at pedagogy studies at five universities in Croatia, were analyzed using the documentation analysis procedure, which combines content analysis and thematic analysis. The results of the analysis showed that in almost all studies of pedagogy, at both study levels, outcomes and content on pedagogical counseling are represented, but they are few and modest in scope. Such courses are more common in graduate studies. The results of the analysis generally indicate that there is insufficient training for pedagogical counseling at pedagogy studies in Croatia, especially in the context of previously conducted research. They consistently show that Croatian pedagogues consider pedagogical counseling to be one of their most frequent jobs, and pedagogical-counseling competence to be one of the most important.
