Sažetak
The article starts from the categorical assertion of the French drama theorist Sarrazac that in modern and contemporary drama there is a noticeable appearance of chorality, which he interprets as a «distant avatar of the choir« because for him the ancient choir represents an «authentic community« that is almost no longer possible. The work further detects a kind of renewed interest for different uses of choirs and/or chorality in recent Croatian dramatic literature. The presentation of choir formations in drama/performance texts by Ivana Sajko, Vedrana Klepica, Dina Vukelić, Goran Ferčec and Dorotea Šušak is examined in more detail. It shows what types of collective characters are represented and how the relationship to the music-dance-song triad is established.
