Bibliografija
Bibliography of Milan Ivanišević (1963 – 2020)
Sažetak
At the end of 2021, Milan Ivanišević left us, an art historian, historian and conservator who dedicated numerous pages in his works to Solin, its past, heritage and current events in the town at the banks of the Jadro river. Therefore, an obituary was published for him in the previous issue of Tusculum and, for technical reasons, his bibliography is being published now. It is extensive and diverse, reflecting Ivanišević’s wide-ranging interests, diligence and thoroughness in his work. Because the Ivanišević’s texts are scattered in many publications, we could not find them all, although his bibliography compiled and published by Ivanišević himself in 2020, was an exceptional guide in searching for them. The bibliography is divided into seven parts, and within these chronologically. Omitted are citations from the Ivanišević’s speeches, texts and statements (usually made of a few
sentences), although he himself did include them in his bibliography. With the exhibition
catalogues, it was difficult to determine whether Ivanišević, apart from the forewords, was
also the author of the list of exhibits, that is, of the rest of the catalog if this was not explicitly
stated. Therefore, in those cases, we limited ourselves to signed forewords. We believe this bibliography will be a useful tool in making it easier to find specific Ivanišević’s works, as well as in providing material for a better understanding and appreciation of his opus.
