Sažetak

In the paper, we analyze the components of the water balance in the soil - precipitation, water loss from the soil, reference and actual evapotranspiration, filling the soil with water and water runoff from the soil, we explain the deficit of physiologically active water in the soil - pedological drought, the hydropedological unit of modes and regimes of soil moistening, degree of sensitivity of crops to deficit of water in the soil, critical periods of crops to deficit of water in the soil, deficit of water in the soil and external morphological changes in crops, the impact of climate change on the development stages of agricultural crops and on implementation supplementary irrigation of agricultural crops.
