Abstract

Cultural tourism through the heritage interpretation represents a link between culture, tourism and everyday life. In addition, heritage interpretation is recognized as an important tool in creating competitive tourist products and services based on culture and nature, which enables destinations to create an attractive tourist offer. The aim of this paper was to explore visitor satisfaction with the offer of the interpretation centre. For this purpose, primary data were collected using questionnaires. The results indicate a positive perception of the elements of the offer in the observed interpretation centre, which leads to a high level of overall visitor satisfaction. Staff, as well as various exhibition elements and activities in the centre have an important role in this. The results of this research can help managers of cultural and heritage institutions in achieving goals related to enhancing the level of visitor satisfaction and their positive behavioural intention. Additionally, the paper offers guidelines for future research.
