Brief Guide to the Nomenclature of Inorganic Chemistry

Abstract

The article provides the Croatian translation of IUPAC Brief Guide to the Nomenclature of Inorganic Chemistry which provides a short overview of the most important rules of inorganic chemical nomenclature in line with the 2005 IUPAC recommendations. For this reason, this text is also an expansion and correction of the Croatian nomenclature of inorganic chemistry (1995 Croatian Chemical Society Recommendations) which were a translation of earlier (1990) IUPAC recommendations, for which reason the Croatian nomenclature of inorganic chemistry had somewhat deviated from the current IUPAC recommendations.
