Archival material in the legacy of Matko Peić

Sažetak
In 2021 the Municipal Council of Požega purchased the legacy of Matko Peić and gave it to the City Museum of Požega. The legacy consists of archival material, books and works of art. Due to the complexity of the material, there are three curators from three different museum departments and from three different fields of expertise (art history, librarianship and history) that take care of processing the legacy. The History department in the museum is responsible for the processing and protecting of museum objects from the legacy (Peić’s personal items such as clothes, eyeglasses, diaries, furniture, equipment etc.) and for the abundant archival material stored in over 130 boxes. In this paper I will briefly present the results of research and processing of archival material and museum objects and explain the problems of inventorisation that we’ve encountered.
