Abstract

The paper analyzes the language of the collection of poems I blidi, blidi višta by Ivo Marković Kora, an author from Postira on the island of Brač, who wrote poetry in his native language, on the phonological and morphological level. Although a large number of linguistic features are known about the Chakavian dialects of the island of Brač, the dialect of Postira has not been studied separately so far, so the linguistic style of these verses written by a Postiranian can point to certain linguistic facts characteristic of that local dialect.
