Abstract

On 12 August 2009 a memorial plaque was unveiled in Crikvenica as a dedication to Juraj Julije Klović, a token of memory to his Croatian origin and education he received in Crikvenica. The memorial plaque displays Klović's self-portrait and is installed at the building of former Pauline monastery, today Kaštel hotel. The passage leading to the Church of Assumption of Blessed Virgin Mary became a place of the permanent exhibition presenting Klović's most significant works and his life path that took him from Grižane to Rome.
