Sažetak

In this article we analysed tourism from the “noneconomic point of view”, but being aware that this distinction is only an illusion, because a touristic product is equally represented by the cultural offer and socio-cultural climate, since combination of the two is necessary to satisfy people’s expactations for what regards tourism. Modern cultural trends are typical for the higher level of cultural demand, so the basic definition of tourism changes (it is not only a journey with prupose of entertainment and relax). The article tries to analyse trends in tourism, the changing of socio – culutral climate and how they follow world trends. We noticed these process is in progress, although it is quite slow, sometimes fragmentary and in other cases blocked.
