Symbiosis of Traditional Teaching and Artificial Intelligence in Education: A Review Paper on the Integration of Technology into Educational Practices

Sažetak
This paper investigates the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into educational practices, with an emphasis on enhancing traditional teaching. The aim is to review existing research and offer guidelines for future development. The methodology used is a systematic literature review (SLR), which provides an in-depth insight into the applications of AI in education. The study focuses on aspects such as personalised learning, evaluation, emotional support for students, professional development for teachers, and ethical and security challenges. The results highlight numerous benefits, including the increased personalisation of teaching, automated evaluation, and improved support for the emotional well-being for students. However, challenges such as technical limitations, lack of teacher training, and ethical concerns regarding data privacy were also identified. Additionally, the integration of AI is often not systematic, and access to inclusive educational practices remains limited. Further research is recommended on the long-term effects of AI implementation, the development of inclusive educational tools, and the reduction of educational inequalities. This paper emphasises the importance of the responsible implementation of technology, ensuring it meets the needs of all participants in the educational process while adhering to ethical standards.
