Abstract

In the mid-15th century, records document the activity of several goldsmiths in Rijeka, inspiring the author to trace their work. Among the preserved and documented goldsmithing artifacts from Rijeka and its surrounding areas, objects have been identified that exhibit stylistic features typical of Central European and transalpine art. Archival data, inscriptions, and stylistic and iconographic analyses highlight several artworks likely produced by local goldsmith workshops.
