Sažetak

Dr. Vinko Zlamalik (Gradačac, 1923 – Zagreb, 1991) initiated one of the earliest scientific research projects in a Croatian museum, titled Verification of Attributions in the Strossmayer Gallery, shortly before his death. Among the exemplary cases of radical reattribution presented in this project was the proposal to attribute the painting Drawing Lesson (inv. no. SG-287) to Giovanni Serodine, a Caravaggesque artist. Marking the 60th anniversary of this attribution and the centenary of Zlamalik’s birth, this article reassesses his attribution.
