Sažetak
Pasko Antun Kazali (1815 – 1894) from Dubrovnik is known not only as a priest, poet and translator, but also as a primary school and grammar school teacher. He is the author of the poems Zlatka (1856), Trista Vica udovica (1857) and Grobnik (1863). His largest work – the poem Ćoso – remained in manuscript and was lost afterwards. He translated from English (works of George Gordon Byron and William Shakespeare) and German (works of Friedrich Schiller). He worked as a teacher in the county of Dubrovnik, in Mokošica and Ston. He also worked in grammar schools in Zadar and Rijeka. He liked his students and was remembered as a favourite teacher.
