Cultural and pedagogical profi le of prof Danilo Viher ph. d.

Abstract
Prof. Danilo Viher, Ph. D. (1912-1971) continued the study of pedagogy, after he completed college study in Maribor, at the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb, where he graduated in 1937, and in 1939 finished his doctoral study with the thesis The Problem of Pedagogical Foundation of Cultural Creation. From 1946 he was a professor at teaching College in Split. At that time he was one of the top pedagogues in former Yugoslavia. He actively participated in shaping and creating new reform pedagogical doctrine. His professional and scientific articles were published in almost all pedagogical magazines and reviews; he published many independent pedagogical monographs and five independent collection of poetry in Slovenian. He received many awards and rewards for his pedagogical and scientific work.
