Primary School Education in Grobnišćina in the Light of Regulations (1945–2000)

Sažetak
All the texts published on Grobnišćina school so far have been the listing of a series of facts on what has been happening to primary school education in Grobnišćina. Such an approach has lacked a reference to regulations that have been essential in bringing about the changes concering the organisation and curricula of schools. What laws have been passed that have affected primary school education? The author of this paper this time decided to study the period from 1945 to the present, because, as time passed, it is more difficult to reconstruct the effect of regulations in the schools themselves, because schools are not required to keep records indefinitely, so, by the integration of schools and by the appointing of new principals, it is very likely that certain documents will get lost.
What has happened in Grobnišćina since 1945? Schooling started in the region of the present–day district of Jelenje in 1946 in Mala Dražica, on the 16th May 1945 in Ratulje, in Trnovica on the 15th October 1946, in Podhum in 1946, in Čavli on 11th June 1945, in Orehovica at the beginning of May 1945 and in Pašac also just after liberation of the country. That was the beginning of the work in Federal Croatia (the Government of Federal Croatia was established on 4th April 1945); later in the Federative Peoples’ Republic of Croatia (29th November 1945). The Constitution adopted on 31st January 1946 included the first laws relating to education. Since then many laws and rules have been passed. Who passed them, where they are published and how they are carried out in the Grobnišćina schools will be elaborated by the author in her paper.
