Sažetak

In this paper, the authors seek to focus attention on the universality of the anthropological dimension of Catholic moral theology and, in this sense, emphasize its suitability in resolving one of the greatest challenges of the contemporary moment at the level of the entire human race: the appropriate realization of human life, which, in addition to the individual one, also includes the social level in all its dimensions. After a brief introduction to the topicality of the mentioned moral-theological challenge, the authors first provide a brief insight into several essential determinants of post-conciliar Catholic moral theology, which systematically determine the moral-theological work of Klaus Demmer. After that, the authors briefly present Demmer’s moral-theological teaching on conscience, especially from an anthropological perspective.
