Sažetak
The paper highlights the role of the Faculty of Science at the University of Sarajevo as a heritage institution and the value of its archive in researching the development of natural and mathematical sciences in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Special attention is paid to the evaluation of the documentation in the archive of the Student Services of the Faculty of Science at the University of Sarajevo using the system for automating the work of student services at the University of Sarajevo. Through documentary and comparative methods, the loss of a part of the documents from the digital archive, which bear witness to the daily life of the Faculty of Science at the University of Sarajevo and a part of its population, was determined, thereby excluding them from social memory, and although their existence is still preserved in the printed archive of the Student Service. There is also a tendency towards the complete disappearance of certain historically important data from both archives. This disappearance is a direct consequence of the digital revolution and the position of humanity in the post-digital age, as well as the position of the archive of the Student Service of the Faculty of Science at the University of Sarajevo and its influence on the perception of reality and the richness of the cultural heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
