Sažetak

Ellen White did not receive any formal training in theological studies, and admittedly, her numerous books did not form nor were they intended to be a complete systematic theology in which she expounded the meaning of various doctrines within a particular system of thought. However, her lack of theological training does not imply the absence of theological thinking on her part, for she readily expressed her thoughts within specific theological categories.
Ellen White’s numerous attempts to clarify theological issues during her life indicate that she perceived her ministry as having a significant theological impact on the growing denomination, and her writings bear the marks of theological learning and a system of thought. This article will first examine the nineteenth-century theological and ideological currents of thought evident in her writings, and then discuss several prominent theological themes present in her work.
