The following article describes the basic categories of her writings under the headings of published, unpublished, and electronic. The published writings' section is divided into (1) books and and books published as compilations and (2) periodicals. The first division describes the twelve subject-matter categories she published books in. Nearly all of them contain more than one book. So the individual volumes are described in terms of contents and their relation to each other. The periodical division lists the different periodicals in which she published more than 5,000 articles during her lifetime. The unpublished writings section discusses the nature of her letters and manuscripts--some 8,000 documents. It also lists the various formats in which some of the unpublished writings have been printed for wider circulation.
