Sažetak
This paper will present 24 coins that arrived at the then Archaeological Department of the National Museum (today the Archaeological Museum in Zagreb), mostly while it was directed by J. Brunšmid. These are Indian coins, and Greek coins from Bactria and Greek possessions in India, as well as Indo-Scythian and Kushan coins. Since this is a part of the history of the ancient world that is poorly presented or is not known at all in the Republic of Croatia, before the actual analysis of the numismatic material is carried out, their historical context will be given – that is, the polities from which they come will be presented. In addition to the analysis of the depictions and inscriptions, the manner in which these objects entered the National Museum will be given, where possible.
