Abstract

The idea was drawn from the occasion of the 1100th anniversary of the Croatian Kingdom and the reference of the glagolitic script in the letter of Pope John X to King Tomislav. The lesson plan envisages that the mentioned topic will be covered in 2 school lessons with the aim of introducing students to the basics of the Glagolitic script, the beginning and the spread of Glagolitic literacy in Croatia, as well as a large number of Glagolitic monuments, missals, legal monuments and incunabula.
