PROJECT ASSIGNMENT FOR THE EXAM PREPARATION - AN EXAMPLE OF EVALUATING PROCEDURAL KNOWLEDGE

Abstract

Writing an exam often causes stress in students. The task of preparing an exam is a project assignment that evaluates procedural knowledge in history teaching. The paper shows how the project assignment was implemented in the seventh and eighth grades based on a selected educational content, clear instructions and evaluation criteria. The paper contains an analysis of the type of tasks based on examples of tasks that students themselves have designed, and the appendices contain selected examples of exams that students have created. An evaluation of the project assignment was conducted, which showed that students did like the task to prepare the exam.
