Sažetak
SUMMARY
The paper presents the publication of the State Archives in Varaždin Maria Theresa's urbarial regulation of Varaždin and a part of Križevci county. In the period from 2011 to 2021, six volumes in eight books were published for the territory of the then Varaždin County, and in 2023 another volume was published for the part of Križevci County named Podravski kotar, which today belongs to Varaždin County. The publication includes original documents created during Maria Theresa's urbarial regulation in the period from 1774 to 1784, as well as numerous older documents that preceded the procedure. Some of the documents were written in Latin, but some were created by writing down the statements of the subjects in the field, thus recording the original Kajkavian language in all settlements in the large area of what was then Varaždin and a part of Križevci County. Therefore, this edition represents a very extensive and valuable philological source, which is also easily accessible.
