Sažetak
This text describes the Vladimir Stanišić Collection on the “tidal wave” in Vela Luka on June 21, 1978, preserved in the Korčula–Lastovo Archive Collection Center. Alongside biographical information about the creator of these records, the Belgrade photographer Vladimir Stanišić, the text discusses the circumstances of filming on that day, as well as the history of the collection,
its organization, and digitization. It concludes that the collection represents an exceptional testimony to an extraordinary event within a broader context, both in terms of its documentary significance and its professional achievements in photography.
