Abstract
The Family House in Sinac is situated in the tranquil landscape of the Gacka Valley, in close proximity to the source of the Gacka River. The surroundings are characterized by gentle topography, open views, and a strong sense of place, all of which have significantly influenced the architectural concept. The design of the house is based on a harmonious relationship with nature and the wishes of the investor, treating the river not as a background but as an essential element of the spatial and visual experience. The architectural concept represents a contemporary reinterpretation of the traditional linear, gabled rural houses that historically defined the edges of the Gacka Valley. The spatial organization is divided into three levels with clearly defined residential functions, providing a logical and comfortable layout for living. The construction and design employ materials that reflect the spirit of local building traditions, achieving both authenticity and a strong connection to the context. The house is currently under construction.
