Abstract

The page of the Glagolitic breviary was accidentally discovered by Suzana, the daughter of the late Živko Čule, in a book from his library. In this paper, the authors analyse paleography, content, and language of this fragment, which comes from the Croatian Glagolitic breviary, the Proprium Sanctorum section for the month of September. The value of this fragment lies in textual differences from all other known transcriptions of the same text, notably it has a significantly different text dedicated to St. Euphemia. At the end of the study, a transliteration of the fragment with indicated differences compared to other breviaries and the parallel Latin text is provided.
