Abstract

The work involved research in the field of fluid dynamics. An actual centrifugal radial pump, NNm 65-315, was used as an example; its parameters were tested and compliance with the design values was determined. Deviations in the pump parameters are permitted within the tolerance limits specified by the ISO 9906 Grade 2 standard. The study focused on comparing the results of experimental tests with those of computer analysis. SolidWorks Flow Simulation 2017 was used for the computer analysis, while two pumps of the same type were used for experimental testing. The aim of the paper is to demonstrate the accuracy and reliability of the results obtained from computer analysis.

Keywords
