Jastrebarsko Public Library Tells Stories Through Music

Sažetak

This paper has two goals. The first goal is to present the Public Library and Reading Room Jastrebarsko, which is an integral part of the Jastrebarsko Cultural Center while also organizing and implementing various activities for all its users. The second goal is to present one of the newly launched activities – Musical Storytelling – in which a story is read accompanied by piano music. The activity is carried out in cooperation with the nearby kindergarten “Radost” from Jastrebarsko. The paper will present the positive and educational effects of this activity, its importance for the library and the community in which it operates, as well as its impact on children.
