Abstract

Based on surviving sources held in several archives, this paper examines the previously undiscovered oeuvre of the architect Slobodan Janjić (Dubrovnik, 1938 – Zagreb, 1997). It situates his work within the context of Yugoslav socialist architecture in Dubrovnik and highlights the high level of thought he brought to architecture and urban planning, a significant contribution to the city’s development in this period.
