Sažetak
Floristic research on dry grasslands in the area of the Požega Valley was conducted during the years of 2003 and 2004, and partially during the years 2005 and 2006 on the slopes of the Psunj and Babja gora and in the northern parts of the Valley. 177 plant species, from 38 families, were found. The most numerous families are those of Fabaceae (14,1%), Asteraceae (13,6%) and Poaceae (10,7%). In the spectrum of life forms, the most dominant are hemicrytophyta (70,0%) and therophyta (12,4%). Most of the plant species are of the Euro-Asian (35,4%) and South-European (16,9%) floral element. Analysis detected that the soils are weakly alkaline to neutral (pH 7,23 – 8,24).
