Sažetak

Journalists and PR practitioners are very closely connected and their vocations
have a great deal in common. The main goal of PR is to create a good reputation of a
company or a person, which is possible only when having a corporative/personal
responsibility in all segments of business and actions, as well as ensuring clear and
accurate communication on that. This should be complementary with the goal of
journalism – true, objective and fair reports for the public.
This means that both are just mediators whose goal has to be to forward a true
and clear information to the public. Therefore, they should not be enemies, they should
not become friends either, but they must be partners who cooperate and learn from
each others.
