In teaching contact professions, such as salesmen, the key skills and knowledge necessary for one’s successful work activities pertain to effective communication with customers. Direct communication between salesmen and their customers must be carefully studied and acquired. This paper pays particular attention to the phases of effective communication while warning of and proposing possible ways of treatment taking account of the knowledge students acquire in the courses of the Psychology of Sales and Promotional Activities.
