Theoretical Models of Entrepreneurial Career

Sažetak

Entrepreneurial career represents a specific phenomenon,
which calls for unique or at least modified theoretical
approaches. In this article we intended to involve different
aspects of entrepreneurial career, that is, to offer a part of
existing empirical evidence, theoretical models of
entrepreneurial behavior and general models of career that
can be applied to self-employment. As a general framework
for text systematization we have followed Dyer's (1994)
suggestion to form theoretical concepts of career choice,
socialization, orientation and progression.
