Modernised I. Hafner's »List of butterflies collected around Knin«

Abstract

In this article there is a modernised list of butterflies collected around Knin which was not completely valid from the stand points of today systematics and nomenclature. All controversial specimens it have been revised, and, if necessary, redeterminated. The system itself is extended and complemented with new systematic categories (families, subfamilies, etc.), and comments added in case of substantial and more complex changes in systematics, and also short necessary explanations about graphical and ecological questions. After the revision there are 797 species.
