Canonical formulation of a free vector field satisfying the first order differential equations

Abstract

The canonical formalism of a free vector field satisfying the first order differential equations is considered and the correct canonical formulation is given. Some consequences of the new formulation are analysed. The connection with zero mass field of the standard theory is also presented.
