MOTHERLAND IS FEMALE GENDER

Abstract

The article concentrates on some of the cultural mechanisms that
construct female identity and bring it into representation. It focuses
on the example of Croatian political propaganda between 1990 and
2000 and the autobiographic discourse about the war in Croatia,
1991-1995.
