Abstract

This article analyses the impact of occupational and individual factors on the likelihood of presenteeism among healthcare workers in the EU27 nations in 2021, within the context of COVID-19. The analysis utilizes data from the European Working Condition Survey (2021). A logistic regression analysis was performed. The sample consists of 1457 healthcare workers. The results indicate that time pressure, exhaustion, and incompatibility between professional and personal life elevate the probability of presenteeism, whereas workplace social capital reduces it. It is advisable to implement measures that reduce the probability of presenteeism to enhance employee well-being.
