Abstract
This paper provides a brief overview of the main topics covered in Normative Reasons from a Naturalistic Point of View. It offers the conceptual background for understanding the central argument that normative practical reasons, when considered within the framework of methodological naturalism, cannot be understood as wholly mind-independent facts. In addition, the paper prepares the ground for my responses to the symposium commentaries by Attila Tanyi, Yifan Sun, Voin Milevski, and Regan Reitsma.
Keywords
normative reasons; methodological naturalism; subject-based and object- based theories of reasons
