Abstract

Fibrous hamartoma of infancy (FHI) is a rare, benign subcutaneous tumor occurring
mainly before the age of 2 years. Typical localization is on the upper portions
of the body, but FHI has also been known to appear in the genital region.
It presents a diagnostic challenge due to localization and similarity to some malignant
conditions. To our knowledge, no published article reports scrotal FHI
in adulthood. Herein, we describe clinical presentation and management of a
44-year-old man with scrotal FHI.
