Abstract

The aim of the paper is to synthesize a pedagogical theoretical practical position that can produce antidystopian subjects. On this path, it is necessary to first establish common determinants of dystopias and their pedagogical meaning analytically. The paper will then raise the question of pedagogical dialectics as a pedagogical perspective, and within it the question of the pedagogical necessity of the negative (negating, opposing) moment in thought, action, and relation. Since the common denominator of various dystopian determinants is alienation in its various manifestations, which is the dominance of an already established reality over the production of reality, negativity will be shown to be a condition for the possibility of critical overcoming of dystopian forms of existence. Therefore, after defining the dialectics of pedagogy and negativity in pedagogy, the idea of alienation and its later forms of the culture industry, spectacle, and simulation will be analyzed in more detail, in order to explicate the essence of various forms of dystopia. The final part of the paper, based on previous analyses, synthesizes pedagogical thinking and action that can overcome dystopian forms of reality and alienation in them
